Only Charlie Brown could appreciate this absolute stunning mistake from England No. 1 Paul Robinson during their eventual 2-0 defeat in Zagreb Wednesday to Croatia in an imporant Euro 2008 qualifier.
Notice who's on the signage behind Robinson, adding to his misery!
"I can throw a rock and hit a gypsy from over 10 meters."

Watch the video again - poor pitch conditions led to the mistake. How was Robinson supposed to account for the bump that sent the ball over his foot?
is niiiiiiiiiiiiiice!
"is Niiiice"
This is not a 'mistake' per se, more of an unfortunate event. No one could have saved that ball with the hop it took.
Wow - that is embarrassing. England soccer hasnt been what it used to be it seems.
I learned never to pass the ball back to the goalie on frame when I was 8 or 9. Shame on Neville and all the other pros who constantly do this to their keepers. Note that the OG goes to Neville and not Robinson. I vote for Calamity James to be back in net. I don't think England is jinxed; they just play boring soccer and deserve to lose for playing non-attacking football.
